"Spring will soon be here..." "Mantis Garden Tillers"

This becomes more evident everyday as the flood of advertisements, catalogues, postcards and flyers for gardening supplies and equipment flows through my mailbox like run-off after a spring storm.

As happens every year, one too many of these annoyances arrives and sends me into artistic overdrive...

"Broken Heart and Broken Moon"

My beautiful acrylic painting entitled "Broken Moon" sold a few weeks ago.

It was one of my all time favorite pieces. Of everything I have ever done, this was the one that always surprised me with fresh delights every time I walked past it.

I never should have shown it as a "for sale" piece, but Christmas was coming and ...

...well... blah blah blah...

...you all know how the story goes...

So here I sit filled with feelings of stunned regret like Thackeray's little Becky Sharp. I parted with something very special for far less than it was worth, but the amount offered was far too much to refuse.
